Once the dentist has a good understanding of your dental hygiene habits and identified potential problems, they will proceed with a comprehensive examination of your teeth, gums and jaw bone.
Following the examination, your dentist will gently start removing tartar deposits from your teeth, reaching into all the hard to reach places that normal brushing and flossing cannot. Your teeth are then polished for a refreshingly clean smile.
A fluoride treatment will be applied directly to the surfaces of each tooth to help protect them from the acids and bacteria in your mouth that cause decay.
